The Indie Filmmakers Workshop is the first Michigan based indie film class! We are dedicated to taking students from any experience level and helping them become accomplished filmmakers. Our primary goal is to provide our students with the education and confidence to be extremely successful in the art of film making.

We teach the technical aspects of film making with a focus on creativity and hands-on education.  Our instructors are all working filmmakers. Yes, we actually make films, television, and commercial videos. Most importantly, we love it!

Our goal is to share our knowledge, encouragement, and creativity with our students. The Indie Film Workshop is not a trade school or a film theory class. It is for people who want to make there own movie. We give you the skills and confidence to take your independent film vision from concept to completion.

There are other classes that promise to prepare you for "entry level, production assistant" jobs on Hollywood films. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!
